Little Scholars Home Nursery
Nurturing Curious Minds in the Heart of Lewisham
Welcome to Little Scholars Home Nursery (LSH Nursery).
My name is Stacy Wilson, Founder and Early Years Practitioner with almost 30 years of experience in early childhood education.
At LSH Nursery, we provide a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child is valued as an individual. We believe that children learn best when they feel secure, happy, and confident.
Our setting is designed to nurture curiosity, independence, and a strong sense of belonging. Through carefully planned learning experiences guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), we ensure that all seven areas of learning are supported — including the three prime areas that form the foundation for future development.
Our goal is simple:
To give every child the strongest possible start before school.
Places are limited to ensure individual attention.

Care That Feels Like Home
Little Scholars Home Nursery offers a refined early years experience in a warm, home-from-home setting. We provide children with emotional security, thoughtful education, and the space to grow confidently at their own pace.
Our approach is personal, calm, and intentional supporting each child’s wellbeing, independence, and natural curiosity during the most important early years of life.
Places are limited to ensure individual attention.

Our Philosophy
Little Scholars Home Nursery was founded by Stacy Wilson, an experienced Early Years Practitioner with a degree in Early Years Teaching and nearly three decades of professional experience across schools and nurseries throughout London.
Over the years, Stacy has seen how easily children can fall behind, particularly in communication and literacy during Key Stages 1 and 2. This inspired her to create a nursery setting focused on early intervention, confidence building, and strong foundational skills.
At LSH Nursery, we believe:
-
Every child is unique
-
Children learn at different rates
-
Secure relationships build confident learners
-
Play is essential for development
Our experienced team — including qualified practitioners, nannies, teaching assistants, childminders, and playworkers — work together to provide holistic care and education in a safe and nurturing environment.
Stacy has previously led and prepared a private nursery team for an Ofsted inspection which achieved an Outstanding grade, reflecting her commitment to high standards and quality early years provision.
We follow children’s interests and curiosity, extending learning in ways that are fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate — helping children reach their full potential.

More Than Childcare. A Thoughtful Beginning.
We understand that the early years shape everything that follows.
That’s why Little Scholars Home Nursery focuses on how children feel as much as what they learn. Our environment encourages curiosity, independence, and emotional security — essential foundations for confident, capable learners.
Every routine, interaction, and activity is designed with care, intention, and respect for each child as an individual.
